- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I transferred to doctor Jacobson after having (failed) double jaw surgery with his partner, Schendel. He put braces on after a week and said it's the best time to move teeth fast because the surgery creates excess blood flow to the area. Moving teeth fast leads to root resorption. Sure enough, I suffered severe root resorption under him. He also had assistants working up my jaw surgery case. For such a complex surgery, only the doctors should be involved. Assistants working up models on an articulator? That's advanced work not for an assistant or technician. Wax bite, face bow, etc all done by assistants. He tried to cover up the awful surgery by putting rubber bands on the teeth to close a massive gap of 3 to 4mm. Every other doctor I saw said this is highly unstable and will relapse, and what I needed was revision surgery. It put such pain and torque on my joints...he realized he couldn't pull it off, then had me take off braces and wait for the statute of limitations to pass. He was simply trying to cover for himself and his partner. Highly unethical and to be avoided at all costs. I've heard he gives patients discounts to leave good reviews on yelp, too...July 02, 2017by j smits

He gives you the best recommendations and helps you decide what is most suitable for you. The staff are lovely. Clinic is beautiful and equipped with state of the art imaging equipment.
