  I have been coming to WCDG for about 20 years and keep returning because I trust them to do geat work on my teeth and that of my family. The staff are very professional, personable and know you by name, even when it has been a while since the last visit. I once left to find a dentist close to home, but quickly returned. WCDG has stability in the community and they do not have a high turnover in staff. It is nice to be greeted by a familiar face and a friendly smile when visiting the central office.

  There are some good people at Wilshire Center Dental. And good work gets done, I'm sure (there might be a wait, but, hey, this isn't Beverly HIlls...) But beware a place with an in-house periodontist. The term "moral hazard" comes to mind. My experience at Wilshire Center involved a dentist telling me, in all seriousness, that if I didn't spend $15,000 for "absolutely necessary" periodontal surgery - immediately - I would lose the majority of my teeth "within 3 months." He then absolutely refused to treat the cavity I had come in to have filled - I was covered by Delta Dental Insurance at the time - because, why bother when, if I didn't have the house periodontist perform surgery Right Away, it was going to fall out anyway? Bottom line: I went elsewhere, and more than five years later, all my teeth are just fine: Healthy and still in my head. Is it a miracle? I think not. Beware of up-selling, and beware of acquisitive, ambitious business people in the medical business.
